Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I sign up?
Click on the “Register” button found on every page of this website. This link will take you to the “gostudiopro” platform where you’ll create an account, log in, and pick the classes you or your student will be taking. You’ll need to complete and sign all “Waivers & Service/Policy Agreements” found on the left panel of your account as well.
What does my child need to be prepared for class?
Refer to the “Class Preparation List” located under the documents section of the class page.
Where do I shop for the dance shoes & clothing?
For your convenience, our RDW has shoes for purchase. Please ask Savannah, Ali, or Roz for assistance with proper shoe fitting. Other local store fronts such as Walmart, Target, Albany Dance Supply, Shoe Department, and The Costumer in Schenectady offer dance shoes. Online stores such as Amazon, Kohls, and Discount Dance have availability as well.
What experience do I need?
You don’t need any but if you have some, you’ll need to demonstrate the basics of that discipline to enter an intermediate or advanced class. Otherwise, there are many beginner classes you can join with little to no experience. We have dance classes for all experience levels.
How much do classes cost & what does tuition cover?
2026–2027 TUITION AND FEES
Tuition is the cost of a full-season dance program divided into ten equal monthly payments from September through June. The amounts below represent each dancer’s total monthly tuition based on the number of classes in which that dancer is enrolled. These rates are not added together.
TOTAL MONTHLY TUITION PER DANCER
One class: $65 per month — $650 for the season
Two classes: $120 total per month — $1,200 for the season
Three classes: $165 total per month — $1,650 for the season
Four classes: $200 total per month — $2,000 for the season
SATURDAY EARLY-CHILDHOOD CLASSES
Little Steps: Dance and Discovery, ages 2½–4: $50/month — $500/season
Little Movers: Dance Foundation, ages 4–5: $50/month — $500/season
These are 45-minute, full-season classes and are priced separately from the standard class-count tuition schedule.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
The first dancer’s tuition is charged at the applicable full rate. Each additional sibling receives a $5 monthly discount after that dancer’s own multi-class tuition has been calculated.
The sibling discount applies only to regular full-season tuition. It does not apply to private lessons, trial classes, drop-ins, costumes, show tickets, competitions, or specially designated programs. It may not be combined with another scholarship or special discount unless approved by Roz’s Dance Works.
For registration-fee and sibling-discount purposes, a “family” means dancers residing in the same household, enrolled under one Dance Studio Pro family account, and billed to the same responsible parent or legal guardian. Extended relatives residing in separate households are treated as separate families. Roz’s Dance Works may review unusual guardianship or shared-custody arrangements individually.
NEW-DANCER REGISTRATION FEE
A one-time, nonrefundable registration fee of $25 per new dancer applies for the 2026–2027 season, with a maximum registration fee of $30 per immediate family.
The registration fee does not become due until class placement and enrollment are confirmed. No registration fee or tuition is collected during preliminary registration.
TRIAL CLASSES
A trial class is available for $20 per dancer, subject to class availability and appropriate placement.
If the dancer enrolls in the trialed class for the 2026–2027 season, the $20 trial-class fee will be credited toward that dancer’s tuition. If the dancer does not enroll, the trial-class fee is nonrefundable.
PRIVATE LESSONS
One student: $70 total
Two students: $35 per student — $70 total
Three students: $25 per student — $75 total
WHAT TUITION INCLUDES
Tuition includes regularly scheduled class instruction, the scheduled final rehearsal, and dancer participation in the annual show.
Tuition is based on the full dance season and is not calculated by the number of classes in an individual month. Some months may contain more or fewer scheduled classes due to holidays, studio closures, or the calendar.
Costumes and show tickets are separate and are not included in tuition. Families will receive advance information regarding costume costs, ticket sales, rehearsal dates, and performance requirements.
PAYMENT DUE DATES AND LATE FEES
Monthly tuition is due according to the payment schedule established by Roz’s Dance Works. Accounts with an unpaid tuition balance after the 15th of the month will be assessed a $25 late fee.
Where permitted through the studio’s payment system, the late fee may be automatically applied to the family account. Families remain responsible for maintaining a current payment method and reviewing their account balance.
PAYMENT PROCESSING AND RETURNED PAYMENTS
Credit-card payments are subject to the applicable credit-card processing surcharge disclosed at the time of payment. The surcharge will not apply where prohibited by law or to payment methods for which a surcharge is not permitted.
Returned, rejected, or reversed payments may be subject to actual bank or payment-processing fees incurred by Roz’s Dance Works. The original tuition or other balance remains due.
MID-SEASON ENROLLMENT
Mid-season enrollment may be accepted based on class availability, appropriate placement, enrollment levels, projected class and performance numbers, and the remaining portion of the dance season.
Tuition for an approved mid-season enrollment will be prorated by Roz’s Dance Works based on the dancer’s enrollment date and the remaining program period.
Participation in the annual recital or other performances for dancers enrolling after the start of the season will be determined based on timing, class readiness, costume availability, choreography, and the dancer’s ability to participate safely and appropriately.
SEASON ENROLLMENT AND WITHDRAWAL
Enrollment is for the full 2026–2027 dance season. Monthly tuition payments are installments toward the full-season tuition and are not month-to-month class fees.
Families wishing to withdraw a dancer must provide 30 days’ written notice to Roz’s Dance Works. Verbal notice to an instructor or other staff member does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
Tuition remains due during the 30-day notice period, including any monthly tuition installment that becomes due during that period. Final-month tuition is not prorated.
Previously paid tuition and registration fees are nonrefundable. Families remain responsible for costume, competition, or other expenses already ordered or committed on the dancer’s behalf prior to withdrawal.
