Roz (Clow) Izzo

Owner / Director

Roz started her dance career at age 3 (unknowingly!) taking classes in tap and jazz. By age 12 was training in 3 classes a week - 2 in Albany for tap and jazz, and private ballet lessons under Arlene Pasiunes (member of the Radio City Rockettes touring group) Roz was involved with 6 years of performing in the television industry, and did numerous show tours throughout the country. She also worked 2 years on location with Albany Fashion Models. Her teaching began at the age of 13 with a love for the "Performing Arts" and imparting it's impact to others; realizing that dance effects every area of one's life.

Roz attended The College of St. Rose for early childhood education and currently holds a NYS nursing license.

Her dance curriculum involves extensive continuing education with Dance Olympus and Dance Caravan. One of her favorite teachers on tour being Tommie Walsh (original cast of A Chorus Line).

Jr. Teachers

Jonelle Miller has been with us for 15 years and has studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and modern. She was the 2003 Valedictorian of Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School and a recent graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelors in Science. She currently attends Albany College of Pharmacy for Clinical Lab Studies. When she's not dancing she works at Windham Mountain as a ski instructor for young children

John Trow has been with us for 18 years. He has studied tap, jazz and hip-hop. He loves performing and is also a favorite with our young students. John says " I love teaching the students, watching them learn and knowing that I had something to do with that" John is also interested in drawing and painting and one day hopes to be a famous artist.

Assistants to our teachers play a large role in helping to make our studio successful. They often spend a large amount of time assisting with classes while also participating in many other activities. Their devotion is an inspiration to our staff as well as other students.
